rough cut movie *I hope it plays properly*

we had to show a rough cut movie to show how much work has been done on our final project, I didn't really like the session to be honest, they said a lot of annoying things to us *aghh*

the "suggestions" I got were:

the character should open the box at the start, see the toy inside and then smile before picking it up, they thought it was weird he was smiling right from the start...er, what?

The toy should hit him on the head more than once, maybe about three times before it gets eaten

I can probably do the second option without too much problem if I want to but the first option, the opening the box thing, I don't know why I feel unsure about that, unless if that's going to make something better..?? I just think it's not like having the box already open doesn't make sense or makes the whole thing hard to understand. I dunno, if I can get away with it I'd rather leave as it is cos I didn't see it as much of an issue :-/

two characters acting

riiight, so I managed to find the two characters acting animation. The one saved on my drive had the ending cut off so I went back to the line test machine to find the original and rendered it out properly again. It should be fine now!

they're sharing a popcorn on the couch but the one on the right keeps eating them and the other character on the left gets mad and tips the empty bowl on his head
these are mostly keys, the only in-betweens I did was for the eating part :-/ well, I still like it anyway!

I'll try and post my final project stuff as well so I can show what I'm doing right now and not just the old stuff, yeah! :D

first ever lip sync

this is an old lipsync animation I did at the BA animation course, it was my first attempt at using flash so it's not perfect but whatever!

aghh, I'm sorry I haven't updated here for a while! I didn't have time cos of how things were at home but anyways, it's okay now!

thank you to those who commented on my previous entries :) it's nice to get comments and feedbacks from you guys! I'll try and dig out the popcorn eating character animation from my hard drive and post it here in the next few days.

My final project is going okay, I'm quite enjoying working on flash.
I think I've managed to do most of the key positions for all the scenes now, I need to decide on what I want the background to look like, I think I should keep it simple. I better work on it in the weekend!

2character lipsync

2character lipsync I've done back in February this year, the sound is taken from a film Dumb and Dumber. The character on the left also starrs in my final project :D he's meant to be a little robot thingy! I'm quite fond of him <3

talking of the final project it's slowly proceeding, I'm still learning bits and bobs about Flash that I didn't know about before *pfft*

I was forced into making a blog to post and share my animation works,...so here it is! this is a animatic I've made for the final major project we're doing at the moment. I will try and keep adding things whenever I can :)
